How do I setup notification messages that will be sent to my customers?
Customer Notification Trigger
The Customer Notification Trigger feature allows you to send order details/updates to your Customers. You can also choose the Notification Type that will be sent out to them (SMS or Email), and also customize the notification message/s, leaving a good impression to your Customers.
Add a New Customer Notification Trigger
To Add a New Customer Notification Trigger:
1.Click Settings.
2. Click Triggers.
Note: In the Triggers window, there are two (2) window tabs – MyPosts and My Opportunities. If your account is a Business Account, add the Trigger in the My Posts tab. For Provider accounts, add the Trigger under the My Opportunities tab.
3. Click Add New Trigger.
4. Fill-out the following fields:
a. Trigger
Type - Customer Notification Trigger will be the default Trigger Type.
b. Trigger
Name - Enter a Title for the Trigger.
c.Notify
Upon - Refers to the job’s current status when the notification will be sent to the
customer.
d.Notify
By - The
customer can receive the notification by Email or SMS.
e.Tags - Jobs with similar tags (2 or more) on the created trigger will be affected by the
notification.
f.Field
and Token - Choose the corresponding Field (Field dropdown)that you want to appear in your notification message. Its corresponding Token will appear in the Token field and can be copiedand paste to your Message Body.
g.Contact
Number - Refers to the mobile number the trigger take effect. You can choose a Contact Number-related Token Field and copy-paste it here.
h.Message -
Type the message body or copy-paste the Token/s of Field/s that you want to include in the Notification Message.
Note: Turning On the PSGC Address Format Toggle will change the Address Format when selecting an Address-related Field under the Field section.
Example:Standard - Imus City
PSGC Format - City of Imus
5. Click Add.
Update an Existing Customer Notification Trigger
To Update an Existing Customer Notification Trigger:
1.Click the Pencil icon of the Customer Notification Trigger that you want to Edit.
2. Make the necessary changes.
3. Click Save.
Remove an Existing Customer Notification Trigger
To Remove an Existing Customer Notification Trigger:
1. Click the Trash icon of the Customer Notification Trigger that you want to Delete.
2. Click Confirm.
Activate/Deactivate a Customer Notification Trigger
To Activate/Deactivate an Existing Customer Notification Trigger:
1. Click the Toggle button beside the Trigger Title of the Customer Notification Trigger that you want to Activate/Deactivate.
Arrange Customer Notification Trigger Order
To Arrange the Order of your Customer Notification Triggers:
Click and drag the Rearrange button beside the Toggle button. You can only rearrange the orders of the triggers with the same Notify By types.
